Create

I will create a project that show how to use the design cycle, each step of the design cycle, and how much easier using the design cycle makes creating a product and solving a problem to not using the design cycle.
I plan to create a video using a web camera and my window media link.

I rate myself a 8 out of 10, due to the fact that I can already accomplish and finish my project and that I have worked on my plan I choose to use.

The Design Cycle

3 Design

Video 1 ;
Show a group using the design cycle to solve a problem.
  • They receive a problem to solve
  • They get in a group of 5 to 8 people and try to find a way to solve the problem
  • Someone in the group shouts out " Design Cycle "
  • Everyone in the group looks confused and ask what is that .
  • The person in the group explain each step of the design cycle
  • While he describes each step of the design cycle, a clip comes out of them use the design cycle
  • Then at the end there problem is solved.
Video 2 ;
Show a group that does not use a design cycle in the experiment and go around to show why they should have used the design cycle.

  • They receive a problem to solve
  • They get in a group of 5 to 8 people
  • They procrastinate and do not solve there problem
  • They decide just to let time pass for someone else to solve the problem and collect there data
  • They then get a F ' on there assignment cause it was not the same problem they would have to solve
  • They procrastinated, and didn't work in step and show how the worked and just gave an answer

Video 3 ;
Show a person who tells who the design cycle step by step and explaining each step clear and passific
A person sit in a surronding and talks about the design cycle

  • Asking questions to random people to see how much they know
  • Then correcting them
  • To show to unaccerate and accerate answers.

My total is 226 minutes divided by 60 minutes in one hour . I need a total of about 4 hours to complete my project. About a 4 days work in the computer lab , since each class is about an hour long.

INVESTIGATION REFLECTION: 60% OF YOUR GRADE

These last two weeks you have worked on your investigation process. Reflect and rate yourself using the rubric PLUS copy your response to QUIA.. Post with the subject INVESTIGATION REFLECTION. When you are finished continue with your 3 brainstorming designs.

0 You did not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below.
1–2 (60 / 70)You stated the problem.
You investigated the problem, collecting information from few sources.
You listed some specification points.
3–4 (75 / 85) You described the problem, mentioning its relevance.
You investigated the problem, selecting and analysing information from some acknowledged sources.
You described a test to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.
5–6 (95 / 100) You explained the problem, discussing its relevance.
You critically investigated the problem, evaluating information from a broad range of appropriate, acknowledged sources.
You described detailed methods for appropriate testing to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.

Design Brief

10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
I am going to create a video showing how to use the design cycle and the importance of it, and how it very affective. We are making this to show the sixth grade students what the design cycle is and how important it's in the MYP course.
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
To use the best product and to make it understandable for sixth grade students as well as a good simplicy level and a way to understand the design cycle and to show what each step means.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?Understandable for sixth grade students, showing all the steps in the design cycle in a creative yet simple way 13. How will you "test" your project? Which product is more acerate, which sorce is easier to control and use.
